Dr. Ka'imi Pilipovich, DAC, LMT, CBI
Ka'imi is a Senior BodyTalk Instructor, and is currently Senior Vice President of the International BodyTalk Association. He is also a licensed acupuncture physician with a background in manual therapy, oriental bodywork and traditional chinese herbology. He has a part-time practice using almost exclusively BodyTalk and lectures on BodyTalk internationally.

Course Description
|
Modules 4 and 7 are always taught together. These courses address the body as an energy system and integrate the insights of Chinese Medicine theory and manual therapy into a practical bodymind psychology. The BodyGenics system developed by Dr. John Veltheim provides the theory behind the techniques covered.
- Advanced Procedure which facilitates more precise balancing and allows for more sophisticated link formulas
- Five elements: A study of the five elements and techniques to balance the elemental energies within the BodyMind.
- Wei Qi: Ways to repair and balance this important protective energy.
- Breathing cycle: The importance of a healthy breathing cycle and its ramifications throughout the body
- Diaphragm: The role of the diaphragm in the processing and distribution of pathological emotions. Specific techniques to release the diaphragm and improve its function
- Body Vivaxis: A specific technique to re-orientate organs, endocrines, and body parts to the whole bodymind complex
- Muscle relationships: a detailed study of the emotional and psychological relationships of all the major muscles and joints of the body
- The role of the kidneys in the Yin/Yang balance of the body and how they relate to sensuality and sexuality
- Sports injuries: Specific guidelines in using BodyTalk to address acute and chronic sports injuries.
- Sports performance: Using an agenda to specifically prepare a sportsperson for maximum performance in specific events
- Managing chronic pain and chronic arthritis
- Adhesions and improvement of range of motion
- Posture correction
- Specific spinal balancing

Pre-requisites: BodyTalk Module 1 & 2 are pre-requisites for this course. IBA membership is required for all advanced modules
