Bus Directions
from Denver International Airport
to Boulder, CO

There is a convenient and inexpensive public bus service that costs $12 (or $6 for seniors) each way from Denver International Airport to within a 10 minute walk of the Boulder Inn and Boulder Outlook hotels. There is approximately one bus each hour, and the schedule can be found by typing “AB” into the "Enter Route" box in the top left corner of the RTD website. You will need exact change when you board the bus. 

Finding the Bus at the Airport

It is easy to find the bus at the airport. The exit doors all have numbers. Go out door number 506 (on the West side) or door number 505 (on the East side) from Baggage Claim. Walk straight out 5 lanes to the 5th (last) set of concrete platforms. Look for the RTD Public Transportation signs. The following map is helpful for finding the bus stop.

Wait at the last or right-most RTD sign, just before the signs that say charters to “Mt Ebert” and “Pikes Peak”. Unless you are very early, you will find a line forming and can ask the people standing there.

Many RTD buses will stop at this platform. The bus to Boulder is the "AB" bus. The bus driver will put your luggage in the hold of the bus, and you can take small items such as briefcases and purses onto the bus. The ride to Boulder will take approximately one hour.

Getting Off the Bus at the Right Stop

Get off the bus at the "Broadway and 27th Way Park-n-Ride". This stop is after the Table Mesa Park-n-Ride stop, and is in the city of Boulder. The driver should announce all stops, but you can ask the driver just to be sure.

Getting to the Boulder Outlook Hotel or the Boulder Inn

From the "Broadway and 27th Way Park-n-Ride" stop, walk east (away from the mountains) down 27th Way until you reach the traffic light at Baseline Avenue. Cross to the other side of Baseline Avenue and turn right, following the sidewalk under a major underpass. After the underpass, you cross a frontage road, and turn left. The Boulder Inn will be right in front of you, and the Boulder Outlook Hotel is one block further down the frontage road.
